Frank Machovec joined the CEC again on 12.2.2015. Frank is a Professor of Economics at Wofford University. This was his second time speaking to the CEC, after his first visit on July 15th, 2010. His topic, Fears About Our Future: Warranted and Unwarranted was extracted from his soon-to-be published book.

Kim Holder of West Georgia University spoke to the CEC on July 15th at the Palmetto Club. She spoke about pop culture and various movies which have helped spread economic understanding and “Rockonomix”, a national program that spreads interest in economics through parodies posted to YouTube.
